Brief History of Topsham Radiator Works

     In 1960 my father-in-law, Henry Bernier, started Topsham Radiator Works in Topsham, Maine. 
I came to work for him in 1977.  I ran the company for my father-in-law up until 1986 when I bought
the company from him.

     Since 1977 I have specialized in recoring and building radiators from street rods to large diesel
engines.  What I have found most satisfying and challenging is the recoring and building of antique radiators. 

     I have seen many changes in the radiator industry.  One such change that I have seen is that many
radiator shops do not like to work on older, vintage radiators.  I, however, do enjoy working on these
older radiators.  It is indeed satisfying and sometimes very challenging.

     My reason for  my website, is to show people the many possibilities available for antique radiators.
